​​Engineering students will study 2 years in Malaysia and 2 years in the UK. Students from the other programmes can also apply to complete their degree in the UK (1+2 and 2+1 delivery models are available).

Affordable Fees

Studying in the University of Southampton Malaysia helps to save up to 75% of the cost, compared with completing the programme fully in the UK. 

• The Engineering split-campus programmes are 40% more affordable. Our Engineering students pay their 1st and 2nd year studies in Malaysia Ringgit (MYR) and enjoy a 20% discount when they transition to the UK to complete their 3rd and 4th years.

• Students on the Business programmes in the Malaysia campus will save up to 60% of the cost of our UK-based degree, if they choose to complete the programme fully in Malaysia.

Our current campus is set within the ultra-modern EduCity Iskandar, Malaysia. Students studying at this newly constructed campus will benefit from innovative, world-class facilities in which to study, together with health service facilities.

The world-class physical recreation and sports facilities at EduCity include:

• a 12,000-capacity sports stadium with a football/rugby pitch and a 400-metre athletic track,

• aquatic centre with Olympic size swimming and diving pools, 

• courts for basketball, badminton, squash, volleyball and futsal (five-a-side).

 

In September 2021, the University of Southampton Malaysia will welcome a new campus located in the Eco Botanic City, a 5-minute walk from EduCity. The new multi-storey campus features state-of-the-art laboratories and learning and recreational spaces for an exceptional education experience. Located just 40 minutes away from Singapore, it will be able to accommodate up to 2,000 students.
